How to delete my account

We're sorry to see you go! If you've decided to delete your Customer-Star account, this guide will walk you through the process and explain what happens to your data.

⚠️ Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your data, order history, and saved information will be permanently removed.

Before You Delete Your Account

Please consider the following before proceeding with account deletion:

  • Pending orders: Ensure all your orders have been delivered and any issues resolved.
  • Returns in progress: Complete any ongoing return or refund requests first.
  • Store credit: Any unused store credit or gift card balance will be forfeited.
  • Order history: You will lose access to all past order information and invoices.

💡 If you just want to stop receiving emails, you can unsubscribe from our newsletter instead of deleting your account. Go to Account Settings > Email Preferences.

How to Request Account Deletion

To delete your account, please follow these steps:

Contact our support team

Send a deletion request through our contact form or email us directly. Include your registered email address.

Verify your identity

For security purposes, we may ask you to confirm your identity by answering security questions or providing order details.

Confirm your request

Once verified, you'll receive a confirmation email. Reply to confirm that you want to proceed with deletion.

Account deleted

Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days. You'll receive a final confirmation email.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Once your account is deleted:

  • All personal information (name, email, address, phone) will be permanently erased
  • Your order history and purchase records will be deleted
  • Any saved payment methods will be removed
  • Wishlist and saved items will be cleared
  • You will be unsubscribed from all marketing communications

📋 We may retain certain information for legal and regulatory purposes (e.g., transaction records for tax compliance) as required by law.

Alternatives to Account Deletion

If you're not sure about permanent deletion, consider these alternatives:

  • Unsubscribe from emails: Stop marketing emails while keeping your account active.
  • Update your preferences: Adjust notification settings in your account.
  • Take a break: Simply don't use your account – it will remain inactive until you return.

Can I Reopen My Account?

Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you wish to shop with us again in the future, you'll need to create a new account with a new registration. Your previous order history and account information will not be available.
